Custom Beds.This is a custom ,hand built, Double bed that I designed and built for a regular client.
The head board is made from off cuts of timber, stained with Ebony Black stain, then lightly sanded back to allow the natural timber colour to highlight each block. |
Custom Entrance Gates.Bespoke Gates made for a client, that couldn't purchase off the shelf gates to fit their opening.

Bringing old wooden floors back to life.

This floor was in an old school building in Kingsdon Somerset. The Building had been left empty for many years, until the local community took over the lease and turned it in to a community village shop.
This beautiful 100+ year old pine flooring was hiding below a carpet and glued and pinned hardboard. I was given the task of stripping it back and bringing it back to its forma glory. It was a lot of hard work and took a good few days to do, but now it looks amazing. the shop is doing exceptionally well now and has been the talk of many local villages around here. |

Using re-claimed timber for period properties.
I was at this clients property for around 8 Months, doing a full first floor refurbishment. All of the flooring and Doors are made from re-claimed timber, de-nailed and sanded back by my own fair hands.
some of the doors are re-claimed Ledged and Braced, others are made by me from old floorboards and re-claimed timber.
All new skirtings Architrave's and plinth blocks made and fitted by myself.
Where the New (old) flooring met the top tread of the stairs, I had to sand foot groves in, to replicate a hundred years of wear and tear from foot traffic.

Built in cupboards and Wardrobes.
Designed and built by myself on site. These built in cupboards and Wardrobes have large drawers to the bottom to allow full access to the full depth of them. I have used tip-on hinges which allow the doors to be opened by pushing to pop them open.
Shepherd's Hut's.
There is an amazing amount of work involved in designing and building one of these, This one is 4.5m x 2.2m. With a full timber chassis and oak axels. The Wheels and stub axels are made with traditional cast iron.
I carved the Date in to the fixed Axel, I used a stable type door and I made two timber windows one with an opening sash.
The client is going to install a Log Burning Stove and a double bed.
This Hut has been fully insulated so it should stay nice and toasty warm once the fire is lit in the winter, also it should help reflect any excessive heat from the sun in the summer months.
